I have been quiet haven’t I! The recent blogging hiatus was for two very good reasons though - I went on vacation to the US with Aine (hi sis!) and since getting back I’ve been up in Sligo meeting the good folks at Nooked whom I’m joining as their new CTO.
Exciting times ahead, Nooked already have great products but they also have the vision and plans to deliver a truly disruptive feed commerce platform - more on that later.
This is going to be great!

Nice one John! I presume you\\\’re not moving to Sligo, though?
Not moving base just yet, no! Funny you should mention that though, I discovered on this trip that Irish Rail do have commuter trains that run direct from Lansdowne Road to Sligo. So I could pretend I was just hopping onto a DART though it’d be a 3 hour commute!
Instead we have various lines of communication live all the time, it feels like we are sitting next to each other!
Congrats John! Hopefully yourself and Fergus will join us on the PaddysValley.org tour of Silicon Valley in December? So far 17 startup entrepreneurs from Ireland are signed up.
Thanks James,
Have been tracking the PaddyValley tour progress for a while, seems like a very worthwhile (ad)venture…
John.
That sounds good. John O Shea, CTO.
Well done man.
Regards to all.
Congrats John, best of luck in new position! Hope you had a great holiday too!
