Funny you should mention that though, I discovered on this trip that Irish Rail do have commuter trains that run direct from Lansdowne Road to Sligo. So I could pretend I was just hopping onto a DART though it'd be a 3 hour commute! Instead we have various lines of communication live all the time, it feels like we are sitting next to each other!
