I spent an hour today installing Second Life and even managed to wander around Dublin:

Wow, pretty impressive, me flying over O’Connell Street Bridge at night, I have always wanted to do that! I also checked out the virtual view from the top of the virual spire (or “Berties Pole” as it is called in-game)
Dublin is even near Las Vegas on the SL world map - if only!

Sign up for a Second Life account, download the client and fire it up. Create a character and then teleport to “Dublin” (secondlife://Dublin/146/102/25) and you’ll see what I mean…

Felt like that a little too - maybe that’s why we never left DM4 & DM6
I’d imagine there are no rocket launchers in SL either and I could never play Quake without rockets…

That was a certainly a long time ago(yep I do remember the inter-uni late night matches, not that we won many!)
